After passing through Airport Security and a wait at our boarding gate, pupils went on a world tour today visiting Asia, Africa, North America and South America. After a day of food tasting, trying on clothes, music and art from all cultures we returned to Scampton having learnt much about the different cultures we celebrate in our wonderful world!
Our letters to the Secretary General of the United Nations were sent today. They will go by airmail. We even had to do a customs declaration for them.
Exciting news however is that we have been given a 45 minute skype call opportunity with Sir John Bercow, Speaker of the House of Commons on Monday. We’ve therefore been busy preparing our questions related to our views about the UN Sustainable Development Project.
Bears Class had a great time at Hartsholme Park last week. We looked at the places we can visit and what we can do at the park having planned our route and made rock cakes for our picnic.
