Beautiful sunshine blessed a great day for families from school and the wider community. Proceedings started at 9am when a group of cyclists left the school for the first 35 mile leg of the Adult Social Cycle Ride. They returned to school at lunchtime as the Family Fun Day opened its gates. Zorb balls, archery, mini tennis, obstacle course, play area, treasure hunt stalls and much more were enjoyed by families whilst the second 35 mile leg of the cycle ride took place, this time with more cyclists who returned at the end of the fun afternoon for a drink and a burger at The Dambusters thanks to Dave’s Daily Bread, also supporting the event.
A great day, rounded off by a Red Arrows fly past then some aching muscles to nurse. All proceeds go to the Scampton Outdoor Challenge.
